The colloquium Art history: The Formation of the Academic Discipline in
Europe and Related Developments in Greece (18th-19th centuries) took place on October 3-4, 2014 at the Institute for Mediterranean Studies-Foundation of Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), 130 Melissinou and Nikiforou Foka, Rethymno, Crete.

It was organized by the Association of Greek Art Historians (EEIT) in collaboration with the  Institute for Mediterranean Studies-FORTH.
